How do I make my slime last? Slime sold at Escuincle Slime Shop is homemade. Always wash your hands before and after playing with slime. Play with slime on a flat, clean surface. Moisturize your hands before playing with slime. Store slime in an air-tight container. Keep in cool, dry environment.

My slime has inflated after playing with it and no longer fits back in its original container. What can I do? Fit as much as you can back into the original container. Store excess slime in any air-tight container. Example: Tupperware, sandwich container, deli container, etc.

The slime was sticky when it arrived. What can I do? Slime is made of glue and may melt in transit due to exposure to warm temperatures. Thankfully, there is an easy fix. Every slime order will come with borax powder or a small spray bottle of pre-made activator. If your order includes borax (powder), completely dissolve in 1/2 cup of warm water (SUPERVISE CHILDREN). Add 1-2 drops and knead for 20 -30 seconds. Repeat until desired consistency is achieved. If your order includes a spray bottle of activator, simply spray your slime once with activator and knead for 20-30 seconds. Repeat until desired consistency is achieved. DO NOT over-activate. You will ruin your slime.

Slime naturally melts after 1-2 months. Your slime is not ruined and does not need to be thrown away. Simply follow the instruction above to reactivate your slime.

My slime is stiff. What can I do? Slime is made of glue and may become tough in transit due to exposure to cold temperatures. Slime may also become tough after playing with it with dirty hands. Let sit for a few days to allow slime to melt. You may add lotion to slime to help.

I left my slime out of the container and it has dried out! Now what? Dried out slime is is tough to rescue. Always tightly seal the container holding your slime. You can try adding lotion or glue. Otherwise, maybe it's time for some new slime.

My clear slime is no longer clear! What can I do? Air bubbles become trapped in slime while playing with it, giving it a foggy appearance. This is completely normal. If you want your slime to clear up again, let it sit in its container for 1-2 week without touching it. This will allow the air bubbles to rise toward the surface of the container. Remember, moistrizers and skin oils may cause clear slime to become foggy. Make sure your hands are always clean with playing with slime.

I'm an adult. Can I play with slime? Of course! We welcome slimers of all ages. As well as serving as a fun toy, slime may help you combat stress and anxiety. By engaging your tactile (touch), olfactory (smell), auditory (hearing), and visual (seeing) senses, slime may help you focus on "the now". Grounding exercises are effective coping mechanisms.
